Most 55+ condo communities make it hard to keep a boat. South River Village is built around it. Clubhouse & Activities
The clubhouse has a heated and chilled pool and spa, a fitness room, billiards and darts, card rooms, an art room, a library and a large room for events, plus a workshop with tools. Outside are tennis and pickleball courts, bocce, shuffleboard, horseshoes and a barbecue area.
Residents run a full calendar of activities, from bridge, mahjong and bunko to chair yoga and water aerobics.
The Condos
Units are mostly 2-bedroom, 2-bath condos, plus 1-bedroom units, on the first or second floor of low-rise buildings from the 1980s. Many have screened porches with river or garden views, and some have full-size washers and dryers in the unit. Covered carports are available in some areas.
