The Yacht & Country Club of Stuart is a guard-gated golf community in south Stuart, a few minutes from Port Salerno and Manatee Pocket. Locals often just call it "YCC." It has an 18-hole golf course, tennis, pickleball and a clubhouse, and some of its homes sit on canals with private docks.
What makes it different from most Stuart country clubs is that club membership is optional. The Club
The club has an 18-hole golf course that many homes overlook, plus tennis and pickleball courts, bocce, a fitness center, a pool and a clubhouse with member dining. It runs a full social calendar with holiday events, live music and sports viewing parties.
Membership is optional. Homeowners who want to golf or use the club can join; those who do not can simply live in the community and pay the HOA. That makes YCC one of the more affordable ways to live behind a guard gate on a golf course in Stuart. Compare it with Mariner Sands, where club membership is required, and Summerfield, where the course is public.
The Homes
Most homes are one-story concrete-block houses from the 1970s and 1980s with 3 bedrooms, 2-car garages and screened pools, on golf-course, lake or canal lots. Many have been updated with newer tile or metal roofs, impact windows and new kitchens, and a handful have been rebuilt new. There is also a smaller group of villas for buyers who want less upkeep.

HOA & Costs
